Giving Skills For Life to young people in and around Oundle
2nd Oundle Scout Group started in 1946 and consisted of our Scout Troop for 10 1/2 to 14 yrs, and the Cub Scout Pack for 8 to 10 1/2 yrs.
in 1988 these were joined by the Beaver Scout Colony for 6 to 8 yrs, and since 2007 all sections have welcomed both boys and girls.
In November 2024 we were joined by the Squirrel Scout Drey for 4 to 6 yrs, and Explorer Scout Unit for 14 to 18 yrs.
These completes our Scout family in Oundle for 4 to 18 year olds.

We meet during school terms at The Joan Strong Centre, Oundle.
2nd Oundle Scout Group is part of Nene Valley District, Northamptonshire.
Due to the level of interest in our group we are, sadly, unable to offer a place to everyone who would like to join. Therefore we operate a waiting list of people interested in joining. This list is used for all sections from 4 to 18 years old. Under 4yr olds are on an interest list and moved to the waiting list a little before their fourth birthday.

We do have a fairly long waiting list in Oundle and we will be in touch as soon possible.
By adding your child/children to our list you are giving consent for their information to be stored securely by 2nd Oundle Scout Group on our waiting list. Information will only be used for the management of the waiting list and to offer places in 2nd Oundle Scout Group should spaces become available.
If your child/children join another group or you no longer wish to be on our waiting list please email waitinglist@2ndoundle.org.uk and we will remove your details.
