Beavers are the youngest section of the Scout Movement and are between 6 and 8 years old. They meet in groups of up to 24 called a Colony. Within the Colony, Beavers are usually split into smaller groups called Lodges for various activities and games.

Beavers aim to have fun and make new friends. Their programme enables them to earn various Activity badges and Challenge badges leading to the highest award for Beaver Scouts – the Chief Scout Bronze Award.

Beaver Scout Uniform

Beaver Scouts wear turquoise sweatshirts with navy activity trousers. Beavers can also wear a turquoise polo shirt. 2nd Oundle Group scarf is scarlet with a black border and is provided by the group when the Beaver is invested.
