Cubs are aged between 8 and 10 3/4 years old. They meet in groups of up to 36 called a Pack. For activities and games the Pack is split into Sixes with older Cubs, called Sixers and Seconders, supporting the younger Cubs.

The Cubs programme enables them to earn Activity badges and Challenge badges leading to the highest award for Cub Scouts – the Chief Scout Silver Award.
