Outspan Day and Boarding School began its life when the headmaster wanted children, who’s families could not afford it, to be able to attend school and have a chance to improve their lives. He also had a strong interest in Scouting and the school uniform is based on the Scouting purple and white.
From humble beginnings in 1995, in wooden buildings without doors or windows, the school now has three premises, all brick built. A Nursery School, the Primary School and A senior school, Outspan College. All three take boarders as well as day pupils.
